Clear glaze highlighting the subtle translucency of the porcelain. Lower outer -  Copper Red, Blue & Ochre Woodash-Glazes complementing the subtlety of the porcelain with dynamic splashes of colour.

The colour highlights are created with sang de boeuf and ash glazes that rely on exposure to the open flame to develop their colour and texture. They demand attentive control of the firing but are tremendously rewarding in producing 

an intensity of colour and dynamic tones and textures. The copper red (sang de boeuf) varies from ‘peach blossom’ to ‘dark red’ making each piece unique.
